Per 5 mL syr Thiamine HCl (vit B₁) 15 mg, riboflavin Na phosphate (vit B₂) 1 mg, nicotinamide (vit B₃) 20 mg, pyridoxine HCl (vit B₆) 5 mg, cyanocobalamin (vit B₁₂) 5 mcg, Fe (equiv to 75 mg Fe sulfate heptahydrate) 15 mg, buclizine HCl 5 mg, lysine HCl 100 mg

Indications/Uses

Cap: Stimulates appetite & enhances wt gain w/ supplementary essential vit, Fe deficiency anemia, anorexia nervosa & malnutrition. Convalescence & recovery in post-op conditions & body weakness due to illness. Syr: Improves appetite, enhances height, promotes wt gain; nutritional supplement for vit deficiencies, during increased physical & mental activities, stress, fatigue, general body weakness & unbalanced diet; prevention & treatment of Fe-deficiency anemia, anemia during growth, prolonged illness & convalescence.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Cap 1 cap bid. Syr Childn >14 yr 15 mL, 7-14 yr 10 mL, 2-6 yr 5 mL. To be taken daily.

Contraindications

Special Precautions

Adverse Reactions

Nausea, epigastric pain, vomiting, constipation, black stools, diarrhea, drowsiness & dulling of mental alertness, dry mouth, headache & tiredness. Syr: Buclizine may cause urinary retention, angle-closure glaucoma & decrease gastric motility.

Drug Interactions

Vit: High dose of Ca & P containing compds; drugs w/ same content to avoid overdose, antibiotics, isotretinoin, NSAIDs, anticoagulants, insulin, HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors, milk & levodopa. Fe sulfate: Antacids, chloramphenicol, levodopa, penicillamine, quinolones, & dairy products. Buclizine: CNS depressants, alcohol, antihistamines, anticholinergics & apomorphine.
